Breaking: Dickson Camp States When It Will Join Diri
...as Controversy Surrounding The Former Gov. Support For The Pdp Candidate Deepeens.
In what looks like a fresh twist in the seeming stand-off between H.E Douye Diri and H.E Senator Seriake Henry Dickson, the incumbent Senator's camp has hinted at a time it may join in campaigning for Gov Diri.
Reacting to a publication by the PDP Alliance for Democracy, on Monday, former Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Dickson Hon. Chief Francis Otta Agbo (Member Representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency) confirmed that though his boss Henry Seriake Dickson is much with Diri, he may only campaign for him at the heat of the campaigns.
'HSD is much with Diri and will come out openly to work and campaign for PDP and Diri, next month october when the campaigns heats up'
Hon. Agbo's statement, did not, however, go down well with a few PDP supporters and random netizens as it was taken that joining campaigns next month was as good as not joining since the elections were close.
A netizen, Linda Orubiri countered 'Hon. Sir Next month end is only 11 days to election. What stops HSD from openly supporting Diri now? The silence is disturbing as HSD is a leader to many'
Within the last week Senator Dickson has publicly met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governorship candidate of the APC in Bayelsa State Chief Timipre Sylva in Abuja
Recall that on September 4, the PDP Alliance for Democracy through its spokesperson Ekiye Akposeye expressed worry over Dickson's unenthusiastic approach to the Diri cause.
