Just In: Court Bars NLC, TUC, From Embarking On Nationwide Strike Over Subsidy Removal

The National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja has ordered organised labour to stop its planned strike action scheduled to commence on Wednesday.

The Nigerian Voice reliably gathered that the ruling followed a suit filed by the federal government, Attorney General Federation against the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress.

Delivering its judgement on Monday, the court ordered the unions to stop any industrial action pending the hearing and determination of a motion on Notice dated 5th June, 2023.
