OBEY, SEWELE, OPELOPE ANNOINTING, ABIARA, LARAH SET FOR FEAST OF WORSHIP LIVE 2010
The city of Lagos is set for another thrilling and fulfilling praise encounter with Feast of Worship Live 2010. It is an annual gospel concert cum festival that is known across the country, with the sole aim of worshipping God in truth and in spirit and to equally bring about gathering of all and sundry irrespective of their denomination, class, race sex, creed, religion, it is usually a nite of praise galore with different “effizi” worship extravaganza with style, lots of comedy and surprises.
This year's event is slated to take place on Friday 27th, August, 2010 at the Ultra-modern stadium-like Auditorium of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Agbala-Itura (The Vineyard of Comfort), Agege, Lagos by 10.00pm to the early hour of the second day. Arrangement is set to be in top gear with the production of another block-buster concert. The event is the initiative of the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) of the church, hence, the Youth Pastor in his word said” this is a programme meant to be a blessing to the body of Christ with the sole aim of gathering believers together to worship God in truth and in spirit via the instrumentality of praise and worship, this year's own promises to be awesome, wonderful and extravagant. As you all come, we assure you that many souls will be blessed and many lives will be harvested into the kingdom of God, so, it is going to be a nite loaded, you cannot afford to miss it, it is another experience entirely” he asserted.
Billed to bring down the roof via praise and worship are Nigeria foremost and leading Juju maestro turned Gospel artiste, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, Opelope Annointing, Shola Allyson, Bukola Sewele Jesu, Israel Abiara and his Judah 2k Afro-Gospel Band, Larah Olubo, Seun Bankole, Ajidara, Egba Cultural Dance Group, Taye Ojo and many more, Unique Steppers (Dance group), comedians like Apostle P.K, St.Ukpabio will add colour to the event, while Prophet Dr. S.K Abiara, C.A.C General Evangelist remains the chief host.
The Coordinator of the Event Planning Committee, Sanya Babalola in his own word postulates that “we are more than prepared to make another emphatic statement that will surpass what we have had before in the last five years of the concert, so all hands are on deck to bring heavens down for praise galore. The unique selling point is that by the grace of God, we have an array of gospel artistes that can minister to all categories of people, from old, to young and upwardly mobile, join us to lift His name high”.
Last year had in attendance the Midnite Crew, Shola Allyson, Isreal Abiara& Judah 2K Band, Bukola Sewele Jesu, Gbenga Ogundeyi, Adegbodu Twins, D Effects, K-po etc.
The 2010 event will have pot-pourri of activities like musical performances, comedy, choreography, dance drama, award presentation etc it will be an assemblage of gospel music lovers, believers, non-believers, all and sundry.
