Kwankwaso, Kano Governor-elect Storm Lagos For Dangote Refinery Commissioning

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has landed in Lagos to attend the grand commissioning ceremony of Dangote Refinery in the Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.

It was gathered that the Governor-elect of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has also arrived in Lagos for the inauguration of Africa’s largest refinery.

The momentous occasion is expected to be graced by President Muhammadu Buhari, along with five other African Presidents.

The event is also set to attract a distinguished audience, including all 36 State Governors of the Federation, numerous Governors-elect, Ministers, Senators, and prominent figures from Nigeria’s business sector.

Additionally, global oil traders, top international bankers, and international multilateral agencies have expressed their eagerness to attend the ceremony.

Situated on an expansive 2,635-hectare plot within the Dangote Industries Free Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, the petroleum refinery boasts an impressive daily processing capacity of 650,000 barrels of oil.
