APC Thumb-printed Ballot Papers Recovered From INEC Officials In Imo State

Three officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were allegedly caught in election rigging at Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State during the 2023 governorship and house of assembly elections.

In a viral video clip shared online, it was captured that the suspected election riggers were caught with already thumb-printed bunches of ballot papers.

However, there was no verifiable means to ascertain that the INEC officials were working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) as claimed in the video.

The ballot papers, however, retrieved from them which were hidden in black nylon leather have the majority of the thumb-printed ballots for APC

It was seen in the video that other election materials were still with the ladies and one of them was still wearing the INEC ad-hoc jacket at the time they were caught.
