Prominent APC Chieftain Feared Dead In Abuja

Late Friday Nwosu

A member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Friday Nwosu has reportedly died after brief illness.

According to reports, Nwosu’s death was confirmed by his family and friends on Thursday.

Nwosu, who is a Barrister and current APC National Welfare Officer (NWO), died in an Abuja private hospital.

The source that spoke to newsmen explained that FN Nwosu, as friends and acquaintances fondly called him, was on admission in the hospital for some time but was discharged on Wednesday hale and hearty.

The source further explained that Nwosu had returned to the same hospital for a routine check-up on Thursday only to die in the hospital.

According to the source, his remains have already been deposited in the mortuary.

Nwosu, a chieftain of the APC in Abia State, once contested the Abia governorship election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and even instituted legal action that did not end in his favour.
