NNPP House Of Representatives Candidate Dies 4 Days To Election

Barely four days to the general presidential elections, a House of Representatives candidate for the Wudil/Garko constituency of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Kamilu Ado Isa, is dead.

The NNPP chieftain who was a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), reportedly died after a brief illness on Monday.

The presidential candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, in a condolence message to Isa’s family, described his demise as shocking and a huge vacuum that can’t be replaced.

Kwankwaso said Isa dedicated his time, wealth, and energy to the success of the party and his immediate community, praying for God Almighty to forgive his shortcomings.

He said, “I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP House of Representatives Candidate for the Wudil/Garko constituency.

“May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.

“My condolence to his family, friends, and the NNPP Kano Chapter.”

The deceased was buried in Kano according to Islam rites.

The funeral took place on the 20th of February 2023 at the Dangote university of science and technology, Wudil.
