APC Governors Meets President Buhari Over New Naira Notes Crisis

Members of the Progressives Governors Forum (Nigerian governors elected under the platform of APC) are currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the council chamber of the State House, Abuja over the new Naira notes crisis.

Present at the meeting are governors of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Imo State, Hope Uzodimma; Zamfara State, Bello Matawale; Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu; Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi; Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun; Yobe State, Mai Bala-Buni; Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje; Niger State, Sani Bello and Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

According to spurces, the discussion is expected to focus on the new naira crisis and fuel scarcity, two issue which have increased the Nigerians’ dissatisfaction with the ruling party.
