Topic: EVIDENCE OF FAITH.
SCRIPTURE: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hebrews 11:1-2.
faith is critical to the Christian life. Faith is the life of a child of God. The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). This means, the just can die without faith.

In our study today, we shall look at the evidence of faith.

i. You cannot be in faith and be without proofs; you cannot be in faith and be

without evidence
The Scripture makes it clear that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

This means, you cannot be in faith and be without proofs. You cannot be in faith and be without evidence. The lifestyle of faith must attract evidence or proofs in the life of a Christian.

ii. Faith is what makes the Word of God profitable
Hebrews 4:2 says :
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The Word of God is profitable when it is mixed with faith. Faith makes the Word of God profitable. It is possible to have religion without reality but you cannot have faith without reality.

There are religious people that are being mocked by people because they do not live the life of faith that should produce profits. People mock them and say, “They go to church all the time but there is nothing to show for it”.

Even people who are their family members look down on them because there is no reality or evidence of faith in their lives. The truth is, you cannot be in faith and be without reality.

Beloved,
1. Make up your mind to live with the evidence or proofs of faith.

2. Ask God to give you proofs of your faith in Him.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You give me proofs and evidences of my faith in You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
