PDP Suspends Governor Fayose's Son, Nnamani, Others Over Anti-Party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party has suspended some big weight members of the party in Ekiti, Enugu and Imo states over allegations of anti-party activities.

The party announced the suspension of the members in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba.

He stated that the suspended party chieftains from Ekiti State include Emiola Jennifer, Ajayi Samuel, Olayinka Olalere, Akerele Oluyinka and Fayose Oluwajomiloju John. Others are Ayeni Funso and Ajijola Oladimeji.

Suspended from Enugu State are former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani from Enugu State, and Chris Ogbu from Imo State.

Ologunagba stated that all the suspensions were without further delay, commencing yesterday, Friday, January 20, 2023,

Similarly, the PDP has also dissolved the executive of its Ekiti State chapter.

The party’s spokesperson who confirmed this in a statement on Friday night stated, “The NWC also approved the appointment of Sadiq Obanoyen as Chairman of the state party’s caretaker committee.
