Topic: FINANCIAL INSIGHT FOR FINANCIAL INCREASE
SCRIPTURE: But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18
The Scripture makes it clear that there is a connection between wisdom and wealth.
Daniel had such dimension of Divine wisdom that made him to interpret dream for King Nebuchadnezzar, decipher strange handwriting on the wall for King Belshazzar, etc.
Now, after interpreting the dream for King Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel was clothed with scarlet (Daniel 5:11-16, 29). The king put a chain of gold about his neck and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
So, there is a connection between wisdom and wealth; there is a link between mentality and prosperity.
Joseph also displayed the wisdom of God in Egypt, and that wisdom connected him with unfathomable resources (Genesis 41:39-49).
We also see in 1 Kings 10:1-2, how the wisdom of God caused men and women from all corners of the earth to locate Solomon with wealth. So, wealth travels in the direction of wisdom. Where wisdom is found, wealth is at home. But where wisdom is lacking, wealth is on the run.
I want you to take note of the point below on financial wisdom:
Money-making is an art that can be learnt.
The art of learning to make money is called financial insight. Financial insight brings financial increase. And financial ignorance brings financial insufficiency. When someone is enjoying financial increase, there is financial insight at work, but financial ignorance brings financial insufficiency.
Beloved, refuse to be tied down by poverty. Make up your mind to be rich so you can invest in the gospel with your resources. Financial intelligence brings financial increase; and financial ignorance brings financial insufficiency.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You renew my mind and deliver me from every poverty mentality. I receive the grace to be financially literate in Jesus Name.
