Kwara State House Of Assembly Leader, Hon. Olawoyin Mogaji Is Dead

The leader of the 9th Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable Olawoyin Mogaji, has reportedly passed on.

It was learnt that the lawmaker died after battling a long protracted illness.

Olawoyin was also the All Progressives Candidate (APC) candidate of his constituency for the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Olawoyin had contested the Ilorin Central Constituency ticket alongside Toyin Agaka on the platform of the ruling APC and won.

The deceased’s victory was challenged earlier by Agaka who asked party members and stakeholders to shun the incumbent lawmaker. He argued that no election was held yet at the Pacific Hotel, Ilorin, the state capital where the contest was billed to take place then.
