As this year's World AIDS Day was marked on December 1, a non-profit group, internet safety magazine, has advised youths to stay away from any pornographic material because in most cases, it increases their sexual feelings.

Speaking on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Ibadan at a special program to educate youths on how to avoid online dangers, the founder of the organisation, Mr. Rotimi Onadipe told youths to be conscious of the fact that AIDS is real.

He said: "December 1 is World AIDS Day and we have dedicated our program today to raising awareness about AIDS. I want to appeal to our youths today. You must be aware that AIDS is real.

"Please stay away from any pornographic material because in most cases, it increases sexual feelings and if you cannot control it, you may end up having sex with someone that is already infected.

"Check your smartphone and delete any pornographic content. Don't post or share pornographic material online as this will also increase your sexual urges. Remember that prevention is always better than cure," Onadipe added.
