The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has reportedly arrested some directors of federal agencies over allegations bothering on sell of job slots to job seekers

Daily Trust gathered that the ICPC operatives carried out discreet operations on various agencies and visited the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) on Wednesday where 3 top officials of the agencies were arrested.

The suspects were said to have been taken into custody for proper and further interrogation.

“Many of the civil servants confessed to our detectives that they paid huge amounts of money ranging from N700, 000 and N2m to some top public servants before securing the jobs,” a source disclosed.

The source added that if the arrested directors were found guilty, they would be charged to court.

Meanwhile, efforts to speak with the ICPC Public Relations Officer, Azuka Ogugua, were futile as he neither answered phone calls nor replied a text message sent him.
