Topic: THE GIFT
Text::proverb 18:16
A man’s gift maketh room for him,and bringeth him before great men.

A Gift is a natural or supernatural ability given to us by God.

it can also be said to be a physical or spiritual ability deposited in us by God.a gift is a precious stone in the eye of his or her possessor prov 17:8.

E.g Gift of the holy spirit, singing ability,craft etc.

Examples of men with Gift:Joseph,david ,Daniel and others as dreamer,dream interpreter and discerner Gen 40:6-8,Gen 41:16.

The Good news for us is in Jeremiah 1:5,
Gift recognition: Jeremiah 33:3
You must pray for the revelation of your gift.
Gift purpose:
1.Glorify God Rev 4:11
2.provide solution for humanity 1 Cor 12:7.
How you can be connected through your gift.
1.Recognise the Giver of the Gift and fear him James 1:17,prov 8:13.

2.Stir up the Gift(develop it)1Timothy 4:14,2Timothy 1:6.

3.Be diligent with the Gift proverb 22:29.
Enemies of Gift.
1.shyness (fear) -matthew 25:25,2Timothy 1:7.
2.peoples opinion -Gen37:8,Acts12:21-23.
3.pride -james 4:6,prov 16:18.
Benefits of Gift
1.Open door of trust and promotion matthew25:21,23.

2.Fulfillment in life Genesis 41:40-44.
3.Great blessing to others Gen 45:7,proverb 11:11.
in Conclusion:every man created by God is embedded with one gift or the other,some discover and make good use of it, others fail to discover theirs and die a nobody,how far you will excel in life and ministry depends on the ability to recognise why you are created on earth and fulfill it. don’t hide your gift but use it as blessing to humanity.

PRAYER:
1.Lord may my gift be profitable to me and my generation in jesus name,amen.

2.lord help me not to ignore the gift you deposited in me to profit with in jesus name,amen
