BREAKING: Governor Akeredolu's  Mother Passes On At 90

Mrs Grace Akeredolu, mother of Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo state, has passed on.

This was contained in a short statement by Richard Olatunde, the chief press secretary to the governor.

He said Akeredolu’s mother died in the early hours of Thursday in her sleep.

She was 90.
“She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members,” Olatunde said.

“Further announcements will be made by the family in due course,” the statement partly read.
