Peter Obi Meets Afrobeat Singer Femi Kuti  (Photos)

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi has met with the legendary Nigerian saxophonist and afrobeat singer, Femi Kuti, to mitigate the attack instigated by his supporters over 'zombies' comment.

Recall that Kuti had come under fire for allegedly referring to Obi’s supporters – Obi-dients – as zombies

On his part, Kuti had clarified his utterance, saying he was concerned about the state of the nation.

Meanwhile, a twitter account belonging Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization tweeted on Wednesday, that Mr Obi met the popular musician.

The tweet read, “BREAKING: Our incoming President H.E @PeterObi met with @Femiakuti to assure him of issue based campaign and inclusiveness of all Nigerians in his movement. What a man? Dear Nigerians, we must not miss this opportunity of having H.E @PeterObi as our next President. #Obidatti2023.”

Meanwhile, another viral picture also shows that Nigerian music veteran Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, was also in the meeting.

A Twitter bearing Peter Obi Ambassador_007, with the handle, @JesusOverNaija, wrote: “#OBIdientlyYUSful’s, Come&See ooo!!! Earlier this morning,our Oga met with @Femiakuti & @AreaFada1 (referring to Charley Boy).

“Truth is that @PeterObi is the most skillful Politician in this country&won’t mind meeting everyone in the 774 LGA’s between now&the elections. Them Go Choke!!” he added.
