Just In: Suspected Terrorists Involved In Ondo Catholic Church Attack Arrested

Ondo State Zone of South-West Security Network Agency, Amotekun, has arrested some persons suspected to be involved in the attack unleashed on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Owo local government area, Ondo State.

The State Commandeer of the Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, made this known in Akure, the state capital.

He disclosed that the Security Network also recovered some weapons and vehicle used to perpetrate the terror act.

It would be recalled that about 40 worshipers were gruesomely killed in the attack on Sunday Pentecost on June 5, and over 70 others injured in the attack

According to him, "We have arrested a number of those who perpetrated evil at the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo.

"We have also recovered the vehicle they used last after the deadly operation. We have also recovered some of their weapons.”

”They came on motorcycles and hijacked a Golf vehicle.”

"We have successfully recovered the vehicle and will soon arrest all the killers”
