LASU VC Donates Five New Motorcycles To Improve Security

Determined to enhance the safety of lives and property of members of the Lagos State University community, the vice chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, on Tuesday, commissioned for use, five brand new motorcycles recently procured by the university.

The brief commissioning ceremony which was held at the Senate Building, main campus, Ojo was in the presence of members of the university management, senior officials of the university and security personnel.

While commissioning the bikes, the Vice- Chancellor was quoted saying "I commission these motorcycles for the use of LASU security unit to secure lives and properties in this university. I dedicate this to the glory of God and the use of mankind", before handing over the keys of the SL200-8 Sonlink bikes to the Chief Security Officer, Captain Callistus Emeruwa (Rtd) in the presence of the Chairman, Univeristy Security Committee, Prof. James Kehinde and other officials of the university.
