Just In: Anti-Graft Agency, EFCC, Invades Venue Of APC Convention

No fewer than 20 operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have invaded the venue of the ongoing Special Convention and Presidential Primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) holding at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

It was learnt that the personnel took strategic positions at the venue.

It would be recalled that similar occurrence surfaced when the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was holding its national convention.

Some Nigerians had seen the EFCC’s invasion then as part of efforts to embarrass the opposition party.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the personnel, in their red jackets, stormed the Eagle Square of the ruling party and were seen monitoring proceedings.
