Just In: Families Of Abducted Passengers In Abuja-Kaduna Train Storm Abuja With Protest

By Damilare Adeleye

The families of passengers kidnapped in Abuja-Kaduna bound train are protesting in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

This is the first time the families would be protesting in Abuja since suspected terrorists attacked the train on March 28.

The ill-fated incident which led to the death of no fewer than eight persons, and 26 persons injured, had several persons abducted.

According to reports, the aggrieved families said the protest was carried due to the threat by the terrorists stating to start killing those in captivity if their demands are not met.

They appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari, the service chiefs and international organisations to help secure the release of their loved ones.
