Presidency: Group Urges Apc Delegates To Elect Amaechi For Competence And Accountability

South-East Nigeria Democratic League (SENDL), a socio-political association with membership across states in South East of Nigeria and the diaspora has called on All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates to elect former Minister of Transportation, Rt Hon. Chibuike Amaechi as Presidential Candidate of the party on the strength of proven competence and acceptability by Nigerians.

The call was made by Chief Ikechukwu Egeonu Director General and Co-Sponsor of South-East Nigeria Democratic League (SENDL) in Statement made available to newsmen in Awka, Anambra State on May 24, 2022.

The Director General of SENDL stated that His Excellency, Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi presents APC with the best choice amongst all the aspirants because he meets and ticks off all the positive attributes required at this time both in terms of leadership competence, experience, acceptability and the ability to deliver on the much needed security of lives and property.

According to Chief Egeonu, "Rt Hon Amaechi has a track record of service, understanding of governance and pan-Nigerian acceptability which supports the much sought after yearning for equity and power shift to the South East

that will guarantee peace and stability."
"We can no longer pretend that everyone that purchased the Nomination Forms can lead Nigeria at this challenging times. Nigeria needs an experienced and smart leader to take the country the woods into the next millennium. Amaechi fits the bill and should be given the mantle, he is the best option to guarantee APC triumph at the Polls." Chief Egeonu reiterated.
