BREAKING: Court Declares Sen. Ademola Adeleke As Osun PDP Gov. Candidate

A Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has maintained that Senator Ademola Adeleke remains the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Osun governorship election slated for July 16 2022.

Justice Nathaniel Emmanuel of the high court ruled out a suit filed by Prince Dotun Babayemi, seeking to nullify Ademola's candidacy and ask the court to declare him as the candidate of PDP.

The judge who nullified the primary election that produced Babayemi, which held at WOCDIF event center, Osogbo on March 8th 2022, however, authenticated the primary election where Ademola emerged as candidate.

It was learnt that the judgement which was delivered amidst heavy security, lasted for one hour 45 minutes.

Justice Emmanuel affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the valid elected PDP candidate for the poll.
