PDP Commences process of rescuing people from hunger, deprivation,bloodletting; -------- Chairman Okorie.

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Ebonyi state chapter said it has commenced in essence the process of rescuing their people from hunger, deprivation and bloodletting that has been their lot since 2015.

Ebonyi state Chairman, Peoples Democratic party, Hon. Tochukwu Okorie made this known at the state Executive Committee meeting held at Salt Lake Hotel, Abakaliki.

Hon. Okorie said that PDP in Ebonyi was well poised to kick out the anti people government to enable them painstakingly reconstruct the lives of the traumatised Ebonyi people and rebuild their decayed institutions in the education and health sector.

He announced that the party will embark on three pronged approach which are aggressive membership drive, mass mobilization and voter education as well as rebuilding and energizing their youths and women arms which he said was already ongoing.

The Chairman called on Ebonyi people at home and diaspora to join hands with them to ensure that the brigandage that they pass off for governance does not continue beyond 2023, adding that they will take the government to task by demanding answers for the numerous unanswered questions on the management of resources under its watch.

Okorie described PDP as a conscientious and responsibility minded political organization that has national agenda of rescuing and rebuilding Nigeria, stressing that the agenda is even more urgent on Ebonyi state given that their people pine away daily under the cruel and brutish administration of the government.

"Let's brace up and pool together rather than pull apart for the actualization of our set goals. Let us eschew rancor, close ranks and work together as a team.

" Today's meeting is therefore crucial as it affords us the opportunity to commence in essence the process of rescuing our people from hunger, deprivation and bloodletting that has been their lot since 2015.

"The PDP in Ebonyi is well poised to kick out the anti people government so we can painstakingly reconstruct the lives of the traumatised Ebonyi people and rebuild our decayed institutions and health sector.

"I call on Ebonyi people at home and in diaspora to join hands with us to ensure that the brigandage that they pass off for governance does not continue beyond 2003".
