AHRC Wishes All a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving Holiday:

By AmericaAmerican Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA)

The American Human Rights Council (AHEC-USA) extends its best wishes to all celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Thanksgiving is a special occasion for families and friends. It is a time for gathering to share a meal and be thankful for all our blessings. Thanksgiving is a reminder for all of us to share, care and help those who are less fortunate than us. It’s a special time that we show gratitude to God for all the blessings that we enjoy this day and all the time.

While AHRC wishes all to enjoy the day to its fullest, we remind people to be mindful that Covid-19 is still a reality and that there is a spike of Covid cases in Michigan. We urge everyone to follow the instructions of the health authorities. This is about our safety and the safety of others.

“For many people, the commercialization of many holidays makes Thanksgiving their favorite holiday,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “It is indeed a special time of the year to enjoy time with friends and family," added Hamad. “Let’s celebrate without forgetting our moral obligation to help others who are in need of help,” concluded Hamad.
