Speaking at the event, Mrs. Obiano said that she chose to host the beneficiaries from LGAs at the Governor's Lodge since it is the eighth and final tour she will undertake before her husband, Governor Willie Obiano, leaves office on 17th March 2022, and that it affords her the opportunity of interacting with the women, widows, children and the aged at the grounds of the Governor's residence; it was also intended to give them something new to experience and talk about.

The wife of the Governor outlined the achievements of the Obiano administration and explained the importance of voting a competent person like Prof. Chukwuma Soludo in the November elections to ensure consolidation on the achievements of Chief Obiano. She urged the women to be wary of politicians with questionable track records who want to capitalise on the moment to grab power without adequate plans to develop the state.

Mrs. Obiano also assured ndị Anambra that CAFE will continue to touch the lives of the needy beyond the husband's tenure in office, noting that by the grace of God, she will be handing over to a capable person like the wife of All Progressives' Grand Alliance (APGA) Gubernatorial candidate for November 6, 2021 elections, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo.

Earlier, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo commended Mrs. Obiano for her commitment to charitable courses and pledged to build on that to ensure the development of women and the protection of children and the needy in Anambra State.

In their remarks, members Representing Orumba North and South Constituencies in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Emeka Aforka, and Hon Engr.
