Independence: Apm Congratulates Nigerians On 61st Independence Anniversary
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Osun State Chapter, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 61st independence anniversary whilecalling on the people to avoid violence and all that would set the country on fire.
In a statement personally signed by the State Chairman of Allied Peoples Movement, in Osun State, Mr Wale Adebayo in Ila Orangun, said he remains optimistic that Nigeria will surmount its challenges and continue to maintain its place in the county of Nations.
At this point when democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, Nigerians should use the occasion of the 61st Independence Anniversary to redefine what should constitute the Nigerian dream, rally round that dream, support leaders who are capable and competent to realize that dream.
Adebayo also saluted the good people of Osun state and admonished the government of Osun State to do more on infrastructure and security.
According to him, the security of lives and properties should be uppermost in the minds of government He also added that nothing is impossible in a united, peaceful and democratic Nigeria.
