I Cannot work Under anyone in APGA Campaign – Ibezi
On the heels of his dramatized defection to APC, Hon Ifeanyi Ibezi whose defection at a rally elicited protests and walk-out by his constituents at Idemmili, has been making strenuous effort to defend his new saboteur status. He reportedly told disappointed constituents that, “I cannot not work under anyone at the APGA Campaign Directorate. I should be Director General of that Campaign and not Director of Contact and Mobilization.”
However, in a swift reaction, Chief Betrand Okudo, APGA Chieftain and major stakeholder in Idemmili said, “I am not surprised at what the young man did. His vaulting ambition and king-sized ego is well-known and he is ready to sacrifice anyone and anything to realize his ambition.
"I am aware he was offered N100million and further promise of contracts in Abuja. But I also know that APGA gave him the biggest support financially and otherwise to win election which he later lost in court. He has chosen to go for personal gain not the benefit of the people and the grassroots will ensure that his sabotage will be repaid. A thousand Ibezi, cannot steal our votes in Idemmili.” Chief Okudo assured.
