In what observers described as shameful and a confirmation of the non-existence of All Progressives Congress (APC) as a political party in Anambra State, officials of the party and their so called gubernatorial candidate were no where to be found on 24 August 2021 as Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON commissioned two projects: The One-stop Shoe factory, Ogbunike, and the 2x60 MVA, 132/33KVA power Substation at Agu Awka.

Reacting to the development, a philanthropist and Onitsha based businessman , Chief Ogbonna Okwuosa said that he was impressed at how Governor Willie Obiano, government functionaries and ndi APGA played the perfect host to the Vice President while members of party were absent;

"Can you imagine those people, they are busy assembling foreigners that will invade Anambra on 6th November 2021 while Akpokuodike and his people including Prof Soludo and his Deputy Ibezim, are here to support the man and ensure that our youths can assemble quality shoes every day. Anyway, we are waiting for them. They should be ashamed." Chief Okwuosa stated!
