AHRC Wishes all Muslims a Happy and Pleasant Eid: 

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends to all Muslims its wishes for a happy, safe and blessed Eid Al Adha. The Eid is on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

Eid Al Adha is the second major Muslim holiday. It is marks the end of the annual pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. Pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of the Muslim faith and is required of all Muslims who are physically and financially able to undertake it.

This year there will be gatherings and public events. We urge that these gatherings and public events continue to be in compliance with all public health directives. The pandemic is still with us.

AHRC urges all not to forget lending humanitarian help to those less fortunate, at home and abroad. Generosity is moral, ethical, legal and required by the Muslim faith and other faiths. We urge everyone to donate to worthy organizations that are helping the poor, the needy and those living in very difficult conditions.

“The Eid is a precious occasion to celebrate and do good deeds” said Dr. Saleh Muslah, AHRC Board President.

“There is so much for help in the world today, I don't need to state the different crises around the world,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “We urge everyone to realize that a donation, no matter how small, can help those living in dire conditions,” added Hamad.
