“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

God said, “Do not be afraid.” It would be hard not to be afraid when your enemies are pursuing you, determined to take you back into bondage. Today it is hard not to be afraid when you receive a bad report from the doctor, have bills due when you do not have the money to pay them. It is hard not to become fearful when your children are on drugs, your marriage is falling apart, etc. What you have to understand is the first thing the devil will try to get you to do when a problem arrives is become afraid. Satan knows that fear will stop the hand of God from moving on your behalf. But just as fear will stop the hand of God, faith will cause the hand of God to move for you!

No matter the situation, make a quality decision not to allow fear to arise within your heart. The moment fear moves in faith moves out. It is impossible to have both faith and fear at the same time. Any time you are tempted to fear, just remember when fear moves in faith moves out but when faith moves in fear moves out! Romans 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

There is a big difference in faith and fear. Fear sees the storm-Faith sees the rainbow!

Fear sees the giants-Faith sees the grapes! Fear sees the hopefulness-Faith sees an opportunity for God to be God! Fear sees the bills-Faith sees divine provision! Fear sees death-Faith sees the resurrection!
