Mayor Koijee Succumbs Foya District to President Weah

(Foya, Lofa County): In less than a day after President George Manneh Weah arrived to a rousing welcome in Salayea, the town that borders Lofa County with Bong County, than to Zorzor, Fissibu, Voinjama, Barkedu, Quardu Gboni, Kolahun, the efforts of Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee attracted the hospitable people of Foya District to the Liberian Chief Executive.

Monrovia City Mayor, His Lordship Jefferson T. Koijee, has been making frenzied efforts in Foya District marketing President George Manneh Weah’s progress and achievements, love for the country and attracting the good people of Foya District to his leadership.

Since his arrival in Lofa, Mayor Koijee has been working around the clock meeting the people of Foya District including traditional and religious leaders, elders, youth and students, local authorities, and marketers, moving in towns and making fascinating speeches on the gains of President Weah’s administration and the prospects for the people of Foya District, Lofa County.

Speaking to the people of Foya District on Saturday, June 5, 2021, Major Koijee said Lofa is a land of champions and a place of endless opportunities in a diversity of sector like mining, tourism, hospitality, and agriculture.

Mayor Koijee assured the people of Foya District that the administration of President Weah will bring more development not only to other districts and towns in Lofa but to Foya making doing business with the district comfortable.

Mayor Koijee also said the leadership of President Weah has identified and will tackle prohibitive bottlenecks that had long been stifling the progress of the county.

Like the people of Salayea, Zorzor, Fissibu, Voinjama, Barkedu, Quardu Gboni, and Kolahun did, the people of Foya District queued in throngs singing, waving and dancing as Mayor Koijee and entourage cruised their way through the district.

The Mayor used the time to thank the people of Foya District for keeping the peace, and encouraged them to give their continued support and work with President George Manneh Weah to achieve his development agenda.
