Obaseki, Shaibu, Speaker Okiye, Vists Edo House Of Assembly

Governor Godwin Obaseki, his deputy Philip Shaibu and Speaker Hon. Francis Okiye has visited the Edo State House of Assembly.

According to Naija News reports, Governor Obaseki was at the Assembly to allay the fears of any move to impeach him.

He assured that any move to impeach him will not succeed as he has the full backing of lawmakers.

Recall that operatives of the Nigeria Police on Thursday took over the Edo State House of Assembly complex in Benin City.

The security officials stormed the complex while patrol vehicles were stationed around the area.
