Chief of Air Staff, State Security Chiefs, Senators, Other Dignitaries Console Gov Zulum Over Demise of his COS

Governor Babagama Umara Zulum has received the Chief of Air Staff, Sadiq Baba Abubakar who was on a condolence visit to the state over the death of the Chief of Staff to the governor in the past 13 months, Dr. Babagana Wakil

He said: "It's a huge lose not sure only to the governoe but for the government and people of Borno, and to all of us that have been opportuned to meet the Chief of Staff.

" He is always there, always ready, always working. We are not even sure of what to say, but we believe that Allah gives life, and Allah takes life. May his soul rest in peace", Sadiq said.

Similarly, the State Security Chiefs led by the GOC 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri, Brigadier General Abdul K. Ibrahim were also at the Government House to condole the governor and people of Borno over death of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Babagama Wakil who passed away after a brief illness at UMTH Maiduguri Wednesday morning and laid to rest same day around 4 on at Shehuri ward of Maiduguri, his father's house.

General Ibrahim said although he knew that all living things must taste death, but they received the sad news of the

demise of COS with great shock.
Senators from Borno State at the National Assembly, led by the Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial District, Senator Kashim Shettima , the immediate past Governor of Borno State Thursday paid condolence visit to Governor Babagama Umara Zulum over th death of his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Babagama Wakil in Maiduguri .

Similarly, the Chief Medical Director of University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, (UMTH) Prof. Rumingo, led UMTH management staff in condolence visit to the governor at the Government House Maiduguri. The Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor led by Sheikh Modu Mustapha were also at the Government House for condolence.

The members of the Correspondents' Chapel of NUJ led by the Chairman, Haruna Dayda Biu were among many sympathisers that paid condolence visit to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum at the Government House Maiduguri over the death of his COS, Dr. Babagama Wakil.

The third day funeral prayers of the late COS to the governor was held today Friday at his parental home in Shehuri Ward of Maiduguri metropolis in the morning with the governor, state Executive Council Members, Special Advisers, State Assembly members and other top government functionaries in attendance.
