APC reconciliation: Governor Mai Mala Buni storms Bisi Akande home

The Chairman of Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr Mai Mala Buni today stormed the residence of APC leader, Chief Bisi Akande in Ila-Orangun to solicit his support in repositioning the party.

Akande who was the Governor of Osun State between 1999/and 2003 was also the former APC Interim National Chairman.

The elder statesman was appointed recently as the chairman of APC National Reconciliation Committee to resolve the crises in the party.

The Yobe state Governor led a delegation of the caretaker committee to the Akande and met him in a closed door session.

The Nigerian Voice learnt that Mai Mala Buni recognised Akande's leadership role in party and decided to enlist his support to achieve his mission.

The Governor of Osun State, Mr Gboyega Oyetola who is a member of the caretaker committee was also at the meeting.
