ISWAP Finally Executes Suspected Abducted Soldier, Police PersonnelIn New Video

It has been reported that a Solider and Police officer suspected to be personnel of the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force were executed by members of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in a new video released on Friday as Nigeria celebrated June 12 Democracy Day.

The security personnel had before their execution revealed in the video seen by Aledeh News that they were abducted in an ambush carried out by the ISWAP terrorist group while on their way from Maiduguri to Monguno Local government council in Borno State.

Although, neither the Nigerian Army nor the Police have confirmed or denied the identity of the security personnel seen in the video. It is also not certain when the video was shot.

But previous videos released by the terrorist group had shown some Nigerian soldiers in captivity before they were executed.

However, a recent video had shown a Soldier who was the older brother of a Borno resident and was later executed after months in captivity.

While the abducted police officer and his colleague in the Nigerian Army were seen in the video sitting on an unidentified road before they were subsequently seen kneeling down and two of the suspected terrorists shot them dead at close range in a 49-second video.

“My name is Yohanah Kilus, I am a policeman, my rank is Inspector. I was abducted between Maiduguri and Monguno; I am presently in the custody of Tilafa soldiers,” said the the police officer who spoke first in Hausa Language, one of Nigeria’s major languages.

The second person to speak before his execution was the soldier, “I am 13NA/70/8374, Lance Corporal Emmanuel Oscar, I was captured by the Tilafa army along Maiduguri- Monguno.”
