National Directorate Of Employment (nde) In Collaboration With Future Assured Initiative Donate Facemasks To Borno State Government

The Director-General of National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Dr Mohammed Nasiru Ladan, representated by his personal assistant, Alhaji Ismaila Mamman has presented 20,000 facemasks to Borno State government for support in the in its fight against the spread of #COVID19 .

The wife of the President, Her Excellency, Dr. Aisha Buhari who was represented by the North East coordinator of Future Assured Initiative and Borno State Commissioner of Women Affairs And Social Development, Hon. Zuwaira Gambo witnessed the presentation ceremony.

The donation was presented to the Chairman of Borno state High powered Response team for the prevention and control of #covid1-9 and the Deputy Governor of Borno State, His Excellency, Umar Kadafur, with the assurance that: "this is the beginning of their support in the fight against the disease & is a continuous one".

The North East Coordinator of Future Assured Initiative, Hon. Zuwaira Gambo who stood in for Her Excellency, Dr. Aisha Buhari, Founder of Future Assured Initiative said the two bodies have been collaborating in many ways of social, economic & health interventions & will continue to assist Borno State in this direction.

The Deputy Governor assured them of judicious distribution of the facemasks to all sections of the society, adding that the donation Will greatly assist in the prevention of the disease.

The Deputy Governor further assured that the Covid -19 committee will partaner with them in the production of facemasks to contain the spread of the disease.
