Royal fight: Court okays Oluwo's arraignment

A magistrate court in Osogbo today granted the application bidding Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi to appear before the court.

The case was instituted by the Agbowu of Ogbaagba, Oba Dhikrulahi Akinropo over the alleged assault on him by Oba Akanbi in Osogbo recently.

In the motion exparte by counsel to Agbowu, Mr Soji Oyetayo, he applied for an order of court to compel Oluwo to appear before the court to face his trial.

Soji said that the motion was filled in respect of leave that was granted today and expressed gratitude to the court for granting the application.

The Magistrate, Olusegun Ayilara granted the application and ordered that Oluwo should be put on notice before a date is fixed for hearing of the matter.
