Father-In-Law Of President Buhari's ADC Kidnapped In Daura

Alhaji Musa Umar, the District Head of Daura in Katsina State was kidnapped by gun men on Wednesday evening.

It was reliably gathered that Mr Umar, a retired customs comptroller, was abducted after observing Magrib prayer.

The traditional ruler is the father of Fatima Musa, wife of Colonel Mohammed Abubakar, the Aide de Camp, ADC, to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the kidnappers arrived in his Daura residence at 7: 00 p.m and engaged in sparodic shooting, there by making people of the area to scamper for safety.

A NAN correspondent who witnessed the incident, also sighted the Daura council Chairman, Malam Abba Mato and hundreds of symphasizsers at the residence of the district head, discussing how it occurred.

Another witness confirmed to NAN that the kidnappers arrived at the district head’s residence in a Peugeot 406 saloon car which they used for the dastardly act.
