Buhari suspends Onnoghen as CJN, swears-in replacement

President Muhammadu Buhammadu Buhari has suspended Justice Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

The President is currently swearing-in his replacement said to be Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as acting CJN.

Justice Mohammed is said to be the next in line in hierarchy of the Supreme Court judges.
