MOGHALU, ANPP EX-SCRIBE, SET TO RETURN

By NBF News

Former national secretary of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Chief George Moghalu, is set to return to the party, Daily Sun can authoritatively reveal. The former national scribe of the ANPP, who left the party last year to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State was believed to be under pressure to return to ANPP after fruitful discussion with the  reconciliation committee set up by the party to ensure that disenchanted members of the party returned to build ANPP ahead of the 2011 election.

In a recent chat with Daily Sun, Chairman of the ANPP reconciliation committee and former presidential aspirant under National Republican Convention, Alhaji Bashir Tofa, disclosed that the trouble-shooting mission of his committee would soon yield the desired dividend, as aggrieved members who left the ANPP would soon return to the party they helped to nurture to growth,

It was, however, not clear whether the move by Moghalu to return to ANPP had to do with a speculated bid to pick the ticket of the party for the national chairman, ahead of the party's national convention, slated for next month.

Speaking with Daily Sun in a telephone interview, the former national secretary of the party did not deny the move to return, as he told Daily Sun that he was under intense pressure from well meaning leaders of the party to return.
