Eddie Murphy is Engaged to Partner Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy and his girlfriend of six years are getting married.

The  Coming to America  actor's rep confirmed to  People  on Friday, September 27, that he has proposed to his partner Paige Butcher, who is currently expecting their second child.

Speculation about a possible engagement started after Butcher was photographed on Thursday wearing a dazzling new ring on her left hand. The 39-year-old model has been dating Murphy since 2012, and the two are proud parents to their 2-year-old baby girl Izzy Oona.

This will be the second marriage for Murphy, 57, who was previously married to his ex Nicole Mitchell from 1993 to 2006.

A source told People that Murphy and Butcher are rather quiet about their relationship overall. “They live a pretty low-key life,” the insider said. “They are all about family. Paige is very close to Eddie's kids.”

Murphy is dad to 9 children (soon to be 10), ranging in age from 29 to 2. He shares his kids with five different women, including former Spice Girl Mel B.
