She is quicker than a pocket calculator: The 11-year-old Priyanshi Somani is the new world champion in the mental arithmetic. The Indian was the latest participant.

The 11-year-old Priyanshi Somani with the winner's honor in Magdeburg- Germany is the new world champion in mental arithmetic. With a beaming smile the girl held her cup upwards, surrounded by photographers, her proud parents and applauding spectators in Magdeburg.

The young Indian girl was the latest participant in the competition.

The agile calculators added, for example, ten 10-figure figures in rapid speed or multiplied 8-figure figures.

Somani asserted itself in the whole evaluation against 37 participants from 16 countries, the oldest one was 61 years old. The only aid was her head.
