Ijaw Youth Council (iyc) Congratulates Prof Charles Dokubo Appointment As Amnesty Boss, Urges Him To Stick To The Objectives Of The Program.

The National Executives of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, wishes to congratulate Prof Charles Dokubo on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Program.

This appointment has come at a very critical time when the Niger Delta is in dire need of the implementation of the Niger Delta blue print.

We are hopeful that with the wealth of experience Prof Dokubo brings to the table he will deal squarely with the true and pressing needs of the Niger Delta to ensure peace that will propel development.

We therefore, urge him not to play politics with his position, but strive to introduce programs that will drive the development of the region and the fulfilment of the core objectives of the amnesty program.
