2019: Imo Deputy Governor’s Guber Ambition Receives Boost

The coast is becoming clearer for a possible emergence of the incumbent Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere as the likely successor of Owelle Rochas Okorocha after his tenure would have come to an end.

Apart from his preferred candidacy by the majority of the party faithful following his experience and quality contributions to the successes of Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission Governor, Prince Madumere is said to be a good administrator who knows how to manage both human and material resources, putting all interest into consideration.

A group under the aegis of National Democratic Mandate Group, NDMG, last week paid Prince Madumere a visit where over one hundred of their grassroots leaders with the National and State leaders paid him a visit paying glowing tributes to the number two citizen of the State.

The Director General of the group, Hon. Isaac Udeh who narrated Prince Madumere’s socio-political exploit efforts, which he said has spanned over twenty years, saying he has distinguished himself in all ramification.

The group declared its unflinching support for Owelle Rochas Okorocha led administration and Buhari led federal government.

The foundational structure, which has its spread in the 36 States of Nigeria, eulogized the number two citizen for his impeccable credentials and unimpeachable strength of character, which has endeared him to the group.

The grassroots based group assured him of massively mobilizing all with its arsenal and all its members at the grassroots to ensure he succeeds politically.

The group emphasized its principle of self-sustenance and therefore came hard on cash and carry politics, describing it as the bane of Nigerian problem in governance.

They therefore singled out Prince Madumere as a great leader who deserves their association following his quality leadership style, humility of spirit, listening ear, visionary, administrative prowess, experienced and result oriented.

On behalf of the NDMG, Hon. Isaac Udeh, the Director General of the group announced Prince Madumere as its Patron.

In his response, the number two citizen who could not hold his happiness, declared the group as one of the most formidable and well organized political platform with quality membership who are mostly professionals and politicians who truly seek.

While accepting his election as the patron of NDMG, Prince called on the group to continue to support Rescue Mission administration, adding that the government has achieved monumental feat in all ramifications.

He promised to always be by the organization and work with them, assuring them of his preparedness to give them the needed support to live up to its aims and objectives of fostering democratic ideals, good leadership and good governance.

Meanwhile, Prince Madumere has been receiving lots of accolades and endorsements for his quality leadership and team-playing spirit from various groups including youths, professionals and non-formal sector.
