Father of two hangs self in Osun

People of Okinni In Egbedore local Government Area of Osun state were Monday evening thrown into mourning as a father of two hung himself to death in his home.

The man simply identified as Gafar, was found hanging lifeless by his son whose cry for help alerted the people in the area.

The Nigerian Voice reliably gathered that Gafar, a motorcyclist, recently sold his motorcycle, which witnesses said was his only source of income.

Gafar's Son further told our Correspondent that having three square meal per day had been very difficult for them for some days.

He said the whole family did not eat anything On Sunday, and that his father managed to give him the only N50 he had, earlier Monday morning.

The little boy said his mother had travelled very early in the morningand has not returned.

Meanwhile, officers from the Dada estate police Station had visited the scene of the incident and taken the body to the mortuary.
