2017 Anambra State Gubernatorial Election: Anambra State And Date With History

In less than an hour's time from now, the great people of Anambra state will be trooping out to the polling stations in the 21 local government council areas across the state to vote for the occupant of the exalted office of Governor for the next four years.

It is expected that the people will turn out in large numbers to cast their vote in an atmosphere devoid of threats and intimidation and will refuse to be induced to do the needful which is a constitutional right.

As the people go out to cast their votes in the 2017 Anambra State Gubernatorial Election, we call for peaceful and orderly conduct during and after the election and wish that the exercise will be free, fair and credible and the outcome a reflection of the democratic wish of the people.
