The information coming in from Anambra West LGA has it that major communities in Anam has been infiltrated by thugs and cultist. This development was noticed by the villagers on Saturday when cliche of unknown faces started coming into the villages in Anam Section of Anambra West LGA.

A resident of Umueze Anam, Mr Sunday Anikpe started that their community is no more safe as the houses of APC members in the area are being used to house these cultist.

You may recall that the stakeholders of Anambra West had sued Hon. Tony Nwoye in Court over the diversion and conversion of their constituency projects. These the people of Umueze Anam, Mmiata, Oroma Etiti and others say was the reason Tony brought cultist to Anam so that on election day, they will chase out the voters and take away their ballot papers and boxes.

In their words, we are calling on the security agents to come to our aid as these dare devils are already with us. Smoking all manner of smokeables and sundry vices are rife in our communities.
