Osun Govt. Commissions 50m Worth Transformers

The Governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has commissioned seven transformers in seven communities of Ife North Local Government Area of the State.

The seven benefiting communities were; Yakooyo, Isale Ola, Asipa, Akinlalu, Kumegun, Akorede and Amule Community.

The project was carried out under the supervision of the Osun Agency for Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) and financed by both the State Government and the local Government.

The CSDP General Manager, Mrs. Aderonke Funmi disclosed that Ten percent of the funding came from the communities, while ninety percent was donated by the state government.

The project which cost about fifty million naira was much appreciated by all the communities.

The Governor in his address, however, implored the citizens to be loyal in the payment of their tax to further empower the government and for more development.
