OPC Condoles Tinubu Over Death Of Son

The Oodua Peoples Congress New Era and OPC Reformed have condoled with a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the death of his eldest son, Jide.

A statement signed by Comrade Razak Arogundade and Comrade Dare Adesope, said OPC “is deeply shocked and grieved to learn of the sudden death of Jide Tinubu, eldest son of the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.”

“While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your son who has left us at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is so painful a reminder of what might have been.”

It added: “We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy from Nigerians, the kind acts of friends and strangers and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult time.”

OPC further added: “We ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.”

“We are so sorry for this terrible loss. You and Jide are in our thoughts and prayers. May your beautiful memories sustain and bring comfort to you during this difficult season.”
